Welcome to Edmund's journey

This blog has been created to update all of Edmund's family and friends on his progress. It will be updated on a regular basis, so please check this blog first rather than contacting Alice. As you can understand, this has been an emotionally exhausted and physically draining time for her too. Edmund and Alice apologise for not being able to return everyone's emails/phone calls/cards.

We welcome any words of encouragement, messages or prayers through this blog too. Please leave them in the 'comments' section under each post and we will make sure Edmund receives them.

Edmund and Alice would like to thank everyone for their continued support through this tough time. It has been a hard journey, but made easier through the love and care shown by many of you.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 4:6-7)

Hi Dad

We are so proud of you and how brave you are. Keep trusting in God and leaning on Him for strength as God will always be there for you. He loves you very much, just like we do!

The above verse from the bible that Uncle Philip wrote down is one of my favourites and it got me through alot of hard times too. If you can, try and memorise it as God's word speaks to you the more you remember it.

Love
Ka (and Chester and your grandchild)

Hi Ming Cheong and Alice,

The family Christmas picture looks great. Wish I could be there with you all.
Hope treatment is going well and you know there're family members in 3 continents praying for you all the time.
The Bible verse Philip picked is also one of my favourites. Like Ka said, it has helped me (and I'm sure a lot others) through difficult times. I say it daily SLOWLY and peace just comes in and lifts me up. I truly believe no matter what circumstances you're in, there's always something to be thankful and joyful for.
On a lighter note, I'm still waiting for a picture of you and puppy Mui Tao.
Happy New Year and love to you all,
Sis, Kim Ho and family

凡 祈 求 的 、 就 得 著 . 尋 找 的 、 就 尋 見 . 叩 門 的 、 就 給 他 開 門 。 (馬 太 福 音 7:8)

To everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will get his desire, and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open. (Matthew : 7:8)

Edmund,
It's great to know you are recovering well. Keep it up. Let's get together for coffee or something when you feel well enough.
Cheers,
TM
