"For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Happy New Year to you all!
Edmund has started his new therapy work on 26 December for his chemoirradiation treatment at the Oncology Department of Queen Mary Hospital. Edmund has to attend the therapy on a daily basis for six weeks - he has almost gone through one-third of the treatment. Despite the time taken to commute between home to hospital and back and the heavy road traffic, he is coping with the treatment gradually. At first, he had a fever & an uneasy feeling for the first few treatments, however, he is now getting used to the routine.
Edmund was able to overcome travelling the long distance to the hospital in his own car driven by his chauffeur - his son & daughter-in-law, Chester & Kaka who stopped by Hong Kong on their way back to Sydney after their two years of missionary work in South Africa. This has saved him the hassle of making his own transportation arrangements to the hospital.

Good news! It's so nice to know that you are coping well with your chemo and radiation therapy after some brief adaptation. Keep going and you are closer to your recovery day by day.
God has taken charge of your healing and He even planned and sent Chester and Ka from Cape Town as your chauffeur to ensure you have the best care! Isn't that fabulous and amazing? Keep praying, God is faithful and He will be with you as you fight the good fight of faith and hold on to the One who is carrying the ball for you. Let Him be that One for you. Let Him intercept all the arrows the enemy has meant for you. Let Him be the One to bring victory in the last moments when all seems impossible. He is able and He is willing, all you have to do is pass the ball to Him.
Dear Edmund and Alice
We all pray for Edmund’s health, and
I believe God hear our prayer…….
Share with you for the following prayer:
O God Hear Our Prayer
O God, hear our prayer.
Grant us strength when we are tempted.
Grant us courage when we are afraid.
Guide us when we do not know what to do.
Give us a cheerful heart when we are discouraged.
Comfort us when life brings us sorrow.
Help us to be persevering when things are difficult.
May Your love and peace prevail so that nothing may take away our joy.
In Jesus' name we pray.
